Loyola Club Tennis 2011/2012
The 2011-2012 Loyola Club Tennis team has come a long way since its humble beginnings just seven years ago. The club has grown into one of the largest and most popular clubs on campus. Even after our courts were torn down earlier this year, the enthusiasm, commitment and passion of its 50+ members has allowed for tremendous strides in the program. From its grassroots work in the community to the strength and dedication of its A-team, every aspect of Loyola Club Tennis is gaining respect and attention on campus, within the Chicago community and across the country.
In the 2010/2011 academic year, the Loyola Club Tennis team placed 5th out of 32 teams at the Spring Invitational in Surprise, Arizona, and placed in the top ten at the Midwest Regional Tournament in Madison, WI. Loyola Club Tennis is thrilled to have continued new talent expressing interest in the club every year. The greatest victory, however, was off the court, where the entire club was honored as the 2009-10 Midwest Section Club of the Year. The hard work of all the members - together with all the officers - has truly made this club so wonderful and decorated. We continue to attract new members and improve our club with new traveling opportunities, social events, and community service opportunities.
